22nd MEU LE Marines Demo Capabilities

U.S. Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit’s (MEU) law enforcement detachment demonstrate the capabilities of their military working dogs and forensic equipment at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 22. This will be the first time any MEU has deployed with a full crime lab and the first time an East Coast MEU has deployed with law enforcement military working dogs.The MEU is scheduled to deploy in early 2014 to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force capable of conducting amphibious missions across the full range of military operations.
