Vietnam veteran Sgt. Maj. John Canley visits the Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall and gives advice to today's Marine during Marine Week Charlotte. Sgt. Maj. Canley is a Navy Cross recipient, whose heroic actions during the Vietnam War saved the lives of numerous Marines. Marine Week Charlotte is an opportunity for the people of the greater Charlotte area to meet Marines and learn about Corps’ history, traditions and value to the nation.
