U.S. Marines with the Ground Combat Element, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin (MRF-D), participate in Exercise Tafakula, Taliai Military Camp, Tonga, Aug. 12-23, 2019. Tafakula is a multilateral exercise hosted by His Majesty’s Armed Forces of Tonga, which includes MRF-D Marines and service members from the New Caledonian Armed Forces, the New Zealand Defence Force, the Australian Defence Force and the Nevada National Guard. The exercise provides an exceptional opportunity to develop relationships, learn about each other's cultures, and share military capabilities. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Staff Sgt. Jordan Gilbert)
