Earning the Bubble | Reconnaissance Marines gasp through Combatant Divers Course
May 22, 2017 | 2:15
34 Marines with 3d Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force gasp through an eight-week Marine Corps Combatant Divers Course at Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan. Six instructors from the Navy Diving and Salvage Training Center, in Panama City, Florida, attempted to tear the Marines out of their comfort zone. During one portion of the training, the instructors simulated rough seas by ripping off the students goggles, cutting off their air supply, and disorienting them. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt. Isaac Ibarra)
