U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) successfully completed a historic, ten-month deployment to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility from Aug. 2025 to June 2026. The 22nd MEU (SOC) deployed in support of the U.S. Southern Command mission, Department of War-directed operations, and the president’s priorities to disrupt illicit drug trafficking and protect the homeland.
