Marines and sailors with II Marine Expeditionary Force utilize amphibious assault vehicles and Navy landing craft air cushions during beach operations for exercise Bold Alligator 14 aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 31, 2014. Service members with 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, II Marine Expeditionary Force and supporting elements conducted operations as part of exercise Bold Alligator, a multi-faceted, joint training event involving thousands of participants and numerous naval vessels in an effort to practice the different roles the Marine Corps may take in a deployed environment.
