Filipino, U.S. Marines Conduct Aerial Assault During Balikatan

U.S. and Filipino Marines conduct a regimental aerial assault into Crow Valley, Philippines, during exercise Balikatan 2015, April 19. MV-22 Tiltrotor Ospreys flew in dropping off infantry men from 4th Marine Regiment along with their Filipino counterparts into the valley to start the field training exercise Combined Vigilance. The large scale exercise in Crow Valley is a fully integrated training exercise with the Filipino and U.S. Marines working shoulder to shoulder, honing their war fighting skills and learning from each other. Exercise Balikatan is a bilateral training exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U. S. military to increase interoperability.
