Organizations achieve VPP Star status

Blount Island Command and Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island in Jacksonville, Fla., were recognized as Voluntary Protection Programs Star sites by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration during a ceremony, Oct. 16. BICmd is the first operational organization to be recognized with this status. MCSF Blount Island is the third Marine Corps installation to earn the VPP star.
