U.S. Navy corpsmen with 1st Dental Battalion and Navy Environmental Preventive Medicine Unit 5 teach students about dental hygiene and preventative medicine during Exercise Cobra Gold 2018 at Bankhaotien School in Lopburi, Kingdom of Thailand Feb. 16, 2018. Cobra Gold 18 demonstrates the commitment of the Kingdom of Thailand and the United States to our long-standing alliance. Thailand is a key partner and an enduring ally. Our broad cooperation continues on issues that benefit both our countries, the region, and beyond. Our relationship with the Kingdom of Thailand remains one of our most important in Southeast Asia. CG18 also promotes regional partnerships that advance security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.
