Residents of Twentynine Palms gathered for a time of remembrance for the passing of retired World War II Marine, Tech. Sgt. Dorothy Lucille Angil, at the Twentynine Palms Public Cemetery, Twentynine Palms, Calif., Sept. 22, 2018. Angil enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1943, in support of World War II. She later went on to support the Korean War war effort.
