From hosting the Super Guppy to a visit from the 38th Commandant of the Marine Corps, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina, had an eventful year. It saw the turnover of its command leaders. Its community members worked hard and played hard in a multitude of training exercises and family events. It highlighted its hardworking Marines, Sailors and civilians and showed off some of what takes place behind the scenes of accomplishing the mission. Take a look back at some notable events of the year and tell us which one was your favorite.
