Marines with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, perform helicopter operations with a CH-53E Super Stallion with support from the United States Naval Ship Sacagawea (T-AKE-2) at Kushiro Port, Japan, Oct 13, 2022. The U.S.N.S Sacagawea serves as the command operating center for Combat Logistics Regiment 37 and provides logistical support to various units participating in Resolute Dragon. Resolute Dragon 22 is an annual exercise designed to strengthen the defensive capabilities of the U.S.-Japan alliance by exercising integrated command and control, targeting, combined arms, and maneuver across multiple domains.
