U.S. Marines conduct a crew-served gunnery range using Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) 25s at Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, May 20, 2023. The range was executed to maintain proficiency and increase lethality of the Marines in the first island chain. The Marines and LAV are with 3d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, currently forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marine Regiment, 3d Marine Division as part of the Unit Deployment Program.
