SCHOOL OF INFANTRY MODERNIZING TRAINING
Feb. 7, 2023 | 5:52
In order to successfully align within the Infantry training continuum, and meet the objectives of Force Design 2030, the Marine Corps Schools of Infantry are making significant changes to instructional design and evaluation. The Training Continuum is built on Experience-based student development that utilizes active learning to bring knowledge and skills together collectively – in real-world environments – to achieve an overall end-state. Along with student-centered, active learning environments where the student is responsible for his/her learning and seeks out information. The Schools of Infantry have moved to embody this line of thinking, adjusting the way our instructors teach and mentor their students to ensure greater retention of the lessons learned.
