Typhoon Egay and Mount Bagana Humanitarian Aid
Sept. 8, 2023 | 2:30
Pacific Marines demonstrated their philosophy of "No better friend" this summer as they worked alongside partner, joint, and interagency personnel to support relief efforts in the wake of Typhoon Egay in the Philippines and the Mt. Bagana eruption in Papua New Guinea, Jul. 30 - Aug. 16, 2023. The forward presence and ready posture of I and III MEF assists in the regionally facilitated rapid and effective response to crises and demonstrates the U.S. commitment to our Indo-Pacific Allies and partners. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt. Therese Edwards)
