B-Roll: MRF-SEA and Philippine Marines conduct EOD scenarios
Nov. 12, 2023 | 3:33
U.S. Marines with Marine Rotational Force-Southeast Asia, I Marine Expeditionary Force, and service members from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, conduct explosive ordnance disposal scenarios during KAMANDAG 7 on Marine Base Rodolfo Punsalang, Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines, Nov. 12, 2023. Both nations executed simulated EOD calls to test each other’s effectiveness in removing improvised explosive devices. KAMANDAG is an annual Philippine Marine Corps and U.S. Marine Corps-led exercise aimed at improving bilateral readiness and mutual capabilities in the advancement of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific. This year marks the seventh iteration of this exercise and includes participants from Japan, the Republic of Korea, and observers from the United Kingdom. MRF-SEA is a Marine Corps Forces Pacific operational model that involves exchanges with subject matter experts, promotes security goals with Allies and Partners, and positions I MEF forces west of the International Date Line.
