U.S. Marines with 3rd Marine Logistics Group and Personnel Retrieval and Processing Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 45, 4th Marine Logistics Group, prepare for the culminating event of a Unit Recovery Team course as part of the field training exercise portion of Resolute Dragon 23 on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 27, 2023. The Marines participating in the course were required to complete a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear training course before starting the URT culminating event. RD 23 is an annual bilateral exercise in Japan that strengthens the command, control, and multi-domain maneuver capabilities of Marines in III Marine Expeditionary Force and Japan Self-Defense Force personnel.
