Marines assigned to Alpha Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, fire an M224 60mm mortar system during a night live-fire and maneuver range in support of an Israel interoperability exercise at Bislah Training Center, Israel, Nov. 4. This is the United States’ and Israel’s first bilateral training since Israel joined the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and is a robust demonstration of both nations’ commitment to stability in the region.
