U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Adam Juan sets security during Artillery Relocation Training Program 24.3 at Ojojihara Maneuver Area, Japan, Dec. 5, 2024. The skills developed at ARTP increase the proficiency and readiness of the only permanently forward-deployed artillery unit in the Marine Corps, enabling them to provide indirect fires. Juan, a native of Arizona, is an infantry rifleman forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marines, 3d Marine Division as part of the Unit Deployment Program.
