U.S. Marines with 4th Marine Division prepare to embark a CH-53E Super Stallion during a battalion urban assault as part of an Adversary Force Exercise (AFX) at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, Feb. 7, 2025. AFX is the primary readiness-building event leading to the battalion’s upcoming deployment to Okinawa, Japan, as part of the Marine Corps’ Unit Deployment Program.
