More Information
Local and military officials along with members of the government of Japan gathered in Ginowan city to commemorate the return of more than 10 acres of land to the government of Japan. The land was previously part of Marine Corps Air Station Futenma and was used to build a highway in order to reduce traffic on the southeast side of Futenma.
