GENTEXT/REMARKS/ 1.  PURPOSE.  To provide Transition Readiness Program training materials for Commanders (COs), Unit Transition Coordinators (UTCs) and Marines, in support of the new Transition Assistance Program Enterprise Database eForm per reference (a), and Marine For Life Cycle (M4LC) per reference (b).
2.  ACTION.  Commanders are authorized to use organic Operations and Management funds for attendance at a TGPS seminar that is outside of the local area of the Marines permanent duty station, when in their judgment, that is the best course of action.  Recommended alternatives to attendance at a transition seminar include the use of virtual curriculum, through coordination with the servicing installation staff.
3.  HELPFUL WEBSITE LINKS.  Additional resources can be found through the Marine For Life Cycle and Marine On Line (MOL)links.  The M4LC link contains supporting checklists for things to do and things to know for Marines at each action point in their career.  The MOL – A Few Good Links resources tab serves as a one-stop shop for Marines who need to complete Transition Readiness Seminar pre-work requirements.
4.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Active and Reserve Component of the Marine Corps.
5.  Release authorized by BGen K.W. Stein, Director, Marine and Family Programs Division.//
