GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  BACKGROUND.  Ref A announced virtual training sessions on the use of Medical Planners Toolkit 1.4 (MPTk 1.4) modeling application.  Due to technical issues experienced within the virtual training environment, these training sessions have been rescheduled to the dates listed in paragraph 3.a.  At this time, space is limited to 12 students per session (24 total).  Those wishing to participate in one of the sessions identified below, must contact the POC (listed above) as soon as possible to request registration and, if approved, initiate software download.
2.  A confirmation email will require attendees to submit additional information.  Failure to submit required information as established in the confirmation email may result in removal from the approved list of training attendees.
3.  This training will be conducted in real-time with CONUS-based instructors.  The training package will consist of periods of instruction and course work conducted over a five-day period.  Students should plan for approximately four hours of instruction each morning Monday through Friday.  Students should also expect to spend approximately two hours outside of class working on exercises each day Monday through Thursday.  Instructors will be available during the afternoons to provide assistance with the exercises.  Students will also be required to complete a short Microsoft Teams video chat (10-15 minutes) with an instructor the week before training commences to verify all required equipment and software are properly functioning.

3.a.1.  Session A:  11-15 Jan 2021 (deadline to register: 18 Dec 2020)
3.a.2.  Session B:  22-26 Feb 2021 (deadline to register: 29 Jan 2021)
3.b.  Location:  Virtual, Microsoft Teams
3.c.  Equipment:  Government computer with MPTk 1.4 installed and video capability.
4.  Any additional information regarding this training will be promulgated via separate correspondence to all approved attendees NLT one week prior to training commencing.
