GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. The Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC) Active Reserve (AR) Career Planner and Staff Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (SNCOIC) of the Year Selection Board convened on 17 November 2021 to consider nominations for the FY21 AR Career Planner and SNCOIC of the Year and Runner ups in accordance with the references. The results of the board are as follows:
a. AR Career Planner of the year: SSgt Jose A. Gonzalez
b. AR Career Planner of the Year Runner up: Sgt Kenneth I. Perez
c. AR SNCOIC Career Planner of the Year: GySgt Samuel W. Espinosa
d. AR SNCOIC Career Planner of the Year Runner up: SSgt John R. Luis
2. In accordance with reference (e), the AR Career Planner of the Year will be meritoriously promoted to the next higher grade. Amplifying guidance regarding the CMC awards ceremony for the AR Career Planner and SNCOIC of the Year will be provided via separate correspondence.
