SUBJ/VETERANS DAY 2015//
GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. THE FREEDOMS THAT ALL AMERICANS ENJOY WERE BOUGHT WITH THE BLOOD, SWEAT AND SACRIFICE OF VETERANS WHO LEFT THEIR HOMES AND LOVED ONES TO SERVE OUR GREAT COUNTRY. TO COMMEMORATE THEIR SERVICE, WE PAUSE AS A NATION IN REMEMBRANCE EACH YEAR ON NOVEMBER 11TH.
2. THE REMARKABLE LEGACY OF THESE SELFLESS PATRIOTS IS NOT LIMITED TO THE LIBERTIES THAT WE ENJOY HERE AT HOME; OUR VETERANS HAVE HELPED BRING FREEDOM TO MILLIONS OF PEOPLE IN NUMEROUS COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD. MARINES TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN KNOWING THAT THEY ARE SERVING AS A PART OF THIS EXTRAORDINARY TRADITION.
3. THIS VETERANS DAY, LET US PAY TRIBUTE TO THE VETERANS OF OUR NATION AND THEIR TREMENDOUS IMPACT ON BOTH THE UNITED STATES AND THE ENTIRE WORLD, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO DID NOT RETURN HOME. LET US ALSO HONOR THEIR FAMILIES, WHO ALL SACRIFICED BESIDE THEM.
4. SEMPER FIDELIS! ROBERT B. NELLER, GENERAL, U.S. MARINE CORPS, COMMANDANT OF THE MARINE CORPS.//
