GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  PER THE REF, THE MARINE CORPS COMMUNICATIONS AWARDS PROGRAM RECOGNIZES INDIVIDUALS FOR SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN THE FIELD OF COMMAND, CONTROL, COMMUNICATIONS, AND COMPUTERS (C4).

B.  JAMES HAMILTON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT CIVILIAN MARINE OF THE YEAR AWARD:  MR. ANTHONY R. CARTER, 2D MAINTENANCE BATTALION, 2D MARINE LOGISTICS GROUP, CAMP LEJEUNE, NC.  THIS AWARD RECOGNIZES THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF A NCO PERFORMING ELECTRONICS MAINTENANCE DUTIES IN SUPPORT OF THE MARINE CORPS OPERATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS MISSION.
F.  LIEUTENANT COLONEL KEVIN M. SHEA MEMORIAL UNIT AWARD:  S-6 COMMUNICATIONS DETACHMENT, 24TH MARINE EXPEDITIONARY UNIT, II MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE, CAMP LEJEUNE, NC.  THIS AWARD RECOGNIZES THE COMMUNICATIONS OR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY UNIT THAT HAS DISTINGUISHED ITSELF BY MAKING THE MOST OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MARINE CORPS C4 FIELD.
