Emergency responses by base agencies were tested during a mass casualty and major accident response exercise conducted on Dobbins Dec. 13, 2011.

The exercise scenario involved a refueling truck colliding with a C-130H aircraft, resulting in the simulated injuries of two maintenance personnel and individual fatality.

Base emergency agencies were evaluated on their ability to respond and recover from a mass casualty major accident during normal operating hours.
