U.S. Marines assigned Ripper Mobile Assault Platoon (RMAP), Headquarters Company, Regimental Combat Team 7, provide security during a firefight at village stability platform (VSP) Shurakay, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Feb. 16, 2013. The Marines of RMAP were supporting Operation Dynamic Partnership, a multi-unit collaboration to retrograde all U.S. military equipment and personnel from VSP Shurakay.
