U.S. Marine 2nd Lt. Michael Wisotzkey, a combat engineer officer with III Marine Expeditionary Force, fills a five-gallon jug with purified water from the Solar Hybrid Expeditionary Power and Purification System as part of a disaster-response scenario during the ASEAN Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief and Military Medicine Exercise hosted by Brunei Darussalam June 17 in Temburong, Brunei. More than 2,500 multinational personnel from 18 Asia-Pacific nations are participating in the ASEAN exercise, which provides a platform for regional partner nations to address shared security challenges, strengthen defense cooperation, enhance interoperability and promote stability in the region. The exercise is scheduled from June 17 to 20.
