U.S. Marine Sgt. The ASEAN exercise marks the first time multinational forces will conduct a field training exercise under the ASEAN Defence Ministers Meeting-Plus architecture and is a milestone event for regional cooperation. More than 2,500 multinational personnel from 18 Asia-Pacific nations are participating in the ASEAN exercise from June 17 to 20.
