Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. James F. Amos, speaks to Marines and sailors with Regimental Combat Team 7, at the II Marine Expeditionary Force Forward compound aboard Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, June 18. Amos traveled with Sgt. Maj. of the Marine Corps Michael P. Barrett to visit RCT-7, Combat Logistics Regiment 2 and 2d Marine Aircraft Wing Forward, not only to talk to Marines and sailors about the state of the Corps, but also to answer any questions they had about sequestration, promotions, Afghanistan and the future of the Marine Corps.
