Captain Martin E. Lindig, Officer Selection Officer (OSO), Officer Selection Station College Station, receives the Captain Samuel Nicholas Globe and Anchor award from Maj. Gen. Mark A. Brilakis, Commanding General, Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC), at the National Operations and Training Symposium (NOTS), here today. The Capt. Samuel Nicholas Globe and Anchor award is given to Officer Selection teams who met their assigned mission during the previous year. During FY 13, 60 OSOs achieved their assigned mission.
