Military Working Dog Sirius, who served with 2nd Law Enforcement Battalion, anxiously observes his retirement ceremony at the Ashley Kennels at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Feb. 26, 2016. Sirius was adopted by the family of his former handler, Sgt. Joshua Ashley, who was killed while they were on patrol together in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2012.
