Navy Ensign Andy Wang explains naval traditions, rules and regulations to Marines and Sailors of Task Force Koa Moana before they board the USNS Sacagawea for a series of bilateral, multinational exercises at Tengan Pier, Okinawa, Japan, May 17, 2016. The series of exercises provide basic military training and the opportunity to exchange engineering and infantry tactics between participating nations to increase interoperability and to preserve peace in the Asia-Pacific region. Wang, from Canton, Mich., is the liaison officer for USNS Sacagawea. His job is to provide a link between the ship’s staff and the service members aboard.
