More Information
Dr. Re McClung presents the Penguin Award to the last official finisher of the Marine Corps Marathon, Oct. 30, 2016. The award was originally conceived by McClung's daughter, Major Megan McClung, killed in action in 2006, at the first Marine Corps Marathon Forward. The award symbolizes that finishing is the most important part of the race.
