NTTP 3-59.3/MCRP 2-10.3 provides surf forecasting guidance to Naval personnel assigned to support amphibious operations to include those collecting surf-zone data, those determining where and when a landing is suitable and those requesting support during the planning and execution phases of an amphibious operation.
