The bond between American and French forces remains strong 102 years after the battle of Belleau Wood. Although Marines and Soldiers are not joining their counterparts on the hallowed grounds this year, the spirit of brotherhood continues. Today we honor those who gave their lives for our freedom. MCAS Cherry Point Observes Memorial Day 2020 Citizens around the nation pause for various moments of remembrance and observance this day, May 25. Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point leaders extend the invitation to all to remember, honor and celebrate the fallen service members who poured out a full measure to defend the nation’s interests and ideals. Memorial Day 2020, reflect on those who gave the extent of themselves in service to the United States of America.
