Blount Island Command Team Supports First-Ever MPF Offload in Mindanao - U.S. Marines assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force stage vehicles during a maritime prepositioning force offload March 14, 2026, at the Port of Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. The operation supported the rapid distribution of forward-positioned equipment for Exercise Balikatan 2026 and demonstrated how prepositioning processes support distributed sustainment by conducting offload, distribution and regeneration across afloat platforms, ashore nodes and transportation networks.
