Incentivized, seamless transition to the Marine Corps Reserve through the Direct Affiliation Program

Marines who transition to the Marine Corps Reserve through the Direct Affiliation Program are eligible for a 25,000-dollar signing bonus, choice of duty station, and lateral move opportunities. Plans for Marine Corps Reserve to Take on Expanded Role in Partnership with II MEF Underway

The Marine Corps Reserve will have a larger role in worldwide crisis response, according to ongoing operational planning currently underway here and at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, between Marine Forces Reserve and II Marine Expeditionary Force.
