Marine Corps Installations Pacific - Marine Corps Base Camp Butler brings honor and remembrance for the humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, Operation Tomodachi. The Tohoku Great East Japan Earthquake hit off the coast of Japan March 11, 2011, triggering a tsunami that reached heights up to 130 feet and traveled six miles inland.
