1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion hosts a Bring Your Kids to Work Day for the children of the battalion’s Marines and sailors at Camp Las Flores here, Aug. 9, 2013. Highlanders, the battalion’s nickname, allowed the children to tour light armored vehicles, shoot weapons at the battalion's Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer and participate in field games. Michelle D. King, family readiness officer, 1st LAR, and Sgt. Raul Mantecon, motor transport operator, H&S Co., 1st LAR, speak to a military reporter about the event. Available in high definition.
