Keeping troops fed on the USNS Millinocket
Oct. 28, 2016 | 1:28
Cpl. Trevor Cron keeps Marines and Sailors on the USNS Millinocket fed during their voyage to Cambodia, Oct. 28, 2016. Service members embarked on the USNS Millinocket were on their way to participate in Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 16. CARAT 2016 is a nine-country, bilateral exercise series between the United States and Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Timor-Leste. This phase of CARAT focuses on partnerships between the forces of the US and Cambodia, and Brunei. As the premier naval engagement in South and Southeast Asia, CARAT provides a regional venue to address shared maritime security priorities, enhance interoperability among participation forces, and develop key relationships that will serve partner nations for many years to come.
