Marines assigned to Marine Air Support Squadron 1 participated in a billet swap aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C. April 24, 2017. During a training scenario set in Guam, enlisted Marines performed in the roles of officers and vice versa. Enlisted personnel coordinated and assessed situations tasked to them in a timely manner. Officers assigned to the squadron assisted with communication efforts between officers and the control booth and in finding the best flight path for aircraft. The two elements also worked together in order to correctly identify what aircraft would work best for specific scenarios portrayed.
