U.S. Marines in the Infantry Unit Leaders Course complete their final exercise before graduation aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Dec. 02, 2017. The Advanced Infantry Training Battalion conducts military occupational specialty validation and qualification for advanced infantry skill progression training to ensure Marines are proficient in advanced infantry skills, reconnaissance skills, and light armored vehicle operations in order to provide infantry Marines to serve in the operating forces thereby enhancing the war fighting capability of the Marine Air Ground Task Force.
