Reunion of Honor commemorates Battle of Iwo Jima | B-roll
March 23, 2019 | 1:31
Dozens of World War II veterans and veterans of the Battle of Iwo Jima took part in the ceremony. Held annually, it is a testament to the strength of the U.S.-Japan Alliance, which has been the cornerstone of peace and security in the Indo-Pacific for over 60 years. The reunion remembers veterans who fought for their respective countries on Iwo To's hallowed ground. Their sacrifice inspired peace, security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt. Tiffany Edwards)
