The 4th Marine Regiment - the "Oldest and Proudest" regiment in the Marine Corps - celebrates its storied legacy and 109th anniversary April 16, 2023. The regiment was first activated in Puget Sound, Washington, April 16, 1914, and has seen action in most major U.S. conflicts since its inception. 4th Marines continues to modernize and prepare for potential future conflicts while working closely with allies and partners to support a free and open Indo-Pacific.
