Marine Corps Base Quantico Marines and first responders participating in a full-scale exercise with Prince William County first responders and personnel on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, May 25, 2023. The exercise simulated a train derailment and chemical leak testing both base personnel and Prince William County first responders in order to properly asses the efficiencies and deficiencies with response times, emergency first aid, chemical decontamination, and proper evacuation techniques. The exercise took place over four locations on base and was a total of six hours long (U.S. Marine Corps Video by LCpl.
