U.S. Marines with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific participate in Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) Day at the Punch Bowl Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii, April 25, 2024. ANZAC Day commemorates the sacrifices made by all Australian and New Zealander service members who have served in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping missions around the world. This date marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australia and New Zealand during World War I on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey.
