U.S. Marines with the Western Recruiting Region, attend the Super Girl Surf Pro competition at Oceanside, California, Sept. 21, 2024. The Marines attended the Super Girl Surf Pro competition in support of community relations and recruiting efforts. The Super Girl Surf Pro event is the only large-scale, all-women’s action sports, esports and lifestyle series in the world. The Marines participated in the event to support community relations and recruiting efforts. The mascot’s job is to boost morale, participate in outreach work and attend events and ceremonies.
