U.S. Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force Support Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, attend a gas chamber to familiarize and build confidence in their personal protective equipment, as part of a Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation, on U.S. Army Garrison Warrior Base, South Korea, Feb. 7, 2025. During the MCCRE, III MSB Marines and Sailors will rehearse their ability to enable III MEF command and control in a contested environment, to include securing a command post area, conducting survivability operations, managing mass casualties, and conducting tactical resupply. III MSB provides and coordinates direct combat services support, security, and administrative services to III MEF, 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade and III MEF Information Group Command Elements to enable III MEF to win in competition and conflict.
